So many different pies to choose from, I wish I could fit more in. They have sweet and savoury pies, different sizes (normal and family size), all freshly baked. I had a cherry pie with cream and it was tasty as. Friendly service and a nice little picnic area outside.
Potato pies are on point. The quality of everything isn't what it used to be before the new ownership but it's still the best place to grab pies and pastries during the weekend when other bakeries such as Southern Rise Bakery in Robertson are closed. Staff seem pretty dense and not overly enthusiastic, but they're also quite young so props to them for having the motivation to work in such a remote location. Always a ton of people here, so expect to wait in line and either scramble for a table or eat in your car.
The volcanic chili pie is absolutely delicious. The perfect amount of chili leaving you wanting more. The pastry is flakey and crisp on top, it potentially could have done with a little bit more meat but overall it was great. The cherry pie with cream was also amazing. The tart and sourness was complimented by the fresh cream. Service was great. The young staff were friendly and attentive
